Wizkid, a Nigerian singer, reportedly cancelled a performance in Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast, following a similar event on December 10 in Accra.
On December 11, 2022, he was supposed to perform in two distinct nations: Benin and Cote D’Ivoire, according to sources. Wizkid, however, didn’t make it to Abidjan and instead performed in Benin.
However, the Abidjan event was confirmed in a tweet by numerous Ivory Coast media outlets.
“The Nigerian performer @wizkidayo was supposed to perform in Accra on Saturday, but he never showed up.
He was noticeably absent from a performance on Sunday in Abidjan, but he was spotted tonight in Cotonou, Benin, when he arrived on a private plane just before midnight “Late on Sunday, LSI Africa tweeted.

Due to a same incident that happened a few hours earlier in Ghana, Wizkid has developed a negative image among many fans, particularly in Africa.
According to reports, this is his second failure to show up for events in Abidjan for which he was completely compensated.

On social media, pictures of Wizkid, King Promise, and other celebrities on a private plane have received a lot of attention.
This is just 48 hours after the singer expressed regret for skipping the Wizkid Live concert on December 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He provided a justification for missing the Accra event on social media late on Sunday and vowed to make up for it by giving his supporters a spectacular performance.
Angered by his absence from Accra, fans and customers who had spent a fortune on tickets for the performance took to social media to lambast him for breaking his word, disrespecting them, and wasting their time.
