On Sunday morning, January 15, 2023, a fire gutted some shops at Hohoe Lorry station in the Volta Region, destroying goods worth thousands of cedis.
According to reports, the fire began in the early hours of the morning near the Hohoe market, destroying several shops; the cause of the fire is still unknown.
Kwami, an eyewitness who narrated the incident said, the fire destroyed more than 20 shops.
Firefighters from the Kpando division responded to the call and helped to save the situation.
As of the time of this report, no casualty has been recorded.
