The Upper West Regional Police Command has announced the arrest of three people in connection with the death of Demo Jeti, a Fulani herder.
They were apprehended on August 30, 2022, according to a police statement issued on Tuesday, September 6.
For their alleged involvement in the murder, the suspects, John Dakurah, Numbuzie Chawinaa, and Tankpare
Sylvester, were apprehended from their hideouts in Kuntaali Village in the Upper West Region.
According to preliminary investigations, the deceased took his cattle to the Kuntaali bush for grazing on July 1, 2022, but only the cattle returned home with him later that day.

The deceased’s lifeless body was later discovered lying between Chari and Kuntaali villages, according to the statement.
