One person died after becoming trapped in his room as a result of the Weija Dam spillage.
The deceased is thought to have been 55 years old.
His body was discovered on Thursday, October 6, according to sources.
The spillage of the Weija Dam, which began on Sunday, forced many residents of Tetegu, Weija, Ashbread, and other communities to flee their homes and businesses.

Property worth thousands of cedis, such as television sets and mattresses, was also destroyed in the process.
According to Citi News, the deceased was a truck driver who had gone missing two days after the spillage began.
His body has been taken to the Police Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
