Tereo Marhguy, the father of the Rastafarian student at Achimota School who accused his son of assault, has apologized for making the matter public.
According to him, he sent the video of bloody bruises on his hand to a few close friends for advice, but it was leaked on social media.
Tereo Marhguy told Citi News that the incident will not happen again after the family met with Child Rights International about the allegations and threats he made.
“Everything that happened should not have happened. We need to calm down and figure this out. It’s unfortunate that it got out and people formed their opinions. I sincerely apologize to anyone who has been harmed. I apologize to everyone for having to go through this. He just held my hand while we struggled.”
