Injured police officer in the Caprice robbery has been promoted
The policeman who was wounded after a shootout between the police and four suspected robbers over the shooting of a woman at Caprice in Accra has been promoted by the IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare. According to a police statement issued by the Chief Superintendent of Police of the Ghana Police Service, Grace Ansah-Akrofi, the unnamed policeman had been promoted from the rank of Corporal to Sergeant with immediate effect.
