A polygamous man whose wives thought he was a true military man was apprehended by soldiers at the Burma Camp while posing as a Lieutenant Colonel and attempting to book a flight to Tamale from the Air Force Base. Fake soldier jailed 15 years for defrauding chief and others over recruitment
Yaw Gyamfi, a 35-year-old driver, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for impersonating a military officer in order to defraud two people out of Ghc16,300. The convict was sentenced to a decade and a half in prison by a Circuit Court in Bekwai, Ashanti Region, presided over by His Honour Mark Diboro.
