Supporting and embracing the Black Stars’ joyous and painful times demonstrates patriotism.
Solomon Bennett Memorial School in Sunyani Municipality, Bono Region, has made it a yearly event for students to dress up to represent each national holiday in order to instill patriotism in them.
Mrs. Grace Bennett, the school’s CEO, stated in an exclusive interview with Joy Learning Channel that her students will always wear Black Stars jerseys to school to express support for the team when they play a match.
Solomon Bennett students wear Black Stars shirts to school as a sign of patriotism. She went on to say that when residents lack patriotism, the country loses its purpose and spirit of progress.
Thus, in order to instill a sense of patriotism in residents, the younger age is the greatest place to start.

On Thursday, the Black Stars were defeated by Portugal by a score of three to two in their opening game of the 2022 World Cup.
