Hundreds of Ketu South residents have taken to the streets to protest the operations of a salt-mining company in the area.
Seven Seas Salt Company, the facility in question, is an Indian company based in Adina.
According to residents, the company’s operations have wreaked havoc on the municipality, including the loss of lives.
A middle-aged woman and her three young children were killed as a result of the alleged company-owned dykes.
The demonstrators pointed out that at least ten people have died as a result of the facility this year alone.
