Flora Ekpe, the accused prophetess implicated in the slaying of a 12-year-old child, Kofi Kuzagbe Tsidi, at Aflokope-Dove in the Volta Region’s Central Tongu District, has been arrested.
The Sogakofe Divisional Police Command apprehended her after the primary suspect in the case, Emmanuel Tsidi Doe, 22, said she instructed him to collect a human head for ceremonial purposes.
Both suspects are presently being held at the Sogakofe Divisional Police Command, where they are aiding with the investigation into the event.

According to Mr. Moses Awukuvi, Assembly Member for the Mafi Dove electoral region, the victim was submerged to ensure that he grew weak before being executed.
Moses Awukuvi, who spoke to Citi News stated, “the suspect, after seeing the community was after him, dumped the deceased’s corpse beneath the creeks and bolted with the head to a maize farm where he put the head behind some leaves.”

He stated that the suspect “went into hiding in a prayer camp where he was with a prophetess, Flora Ekpe, who is thought to be affiliated with the Prophet of God.”
