The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a police officer’s drowning in Sefwi Amoaya, Sefwi Bodi District, Western North Region.
On September 27, 2022, the incident occurred.
When the unfortunate incident occurred, the deceased Police Corporal was part of a Police team on anti-Illegal Mining Operation duty around the River Sui.

“While investigations continue,” a Police statement said, “the Police Administration wishes to express its deepest condolences to the bereaved family, colleagues, and the Service as a whole.”
