A pastor is being held by police in Mankessim, Central Region, after confessing to assisting a chief in kidnapping a 25-year-old nurse trainee and secretly burying her in the chief’s room.
The pastor led investigators to the room of the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Crack, on Tuesday, September 20, and the mortal remains of Georgina Asor Botchwey were exhumed.
According to reports, after kidnapping her, the two may have had several sex sessions with her before killing her.
She was then buried in one of the chief’s rooms, who is currently on the run.
The body has reportedly been buried for three weeks.
Residents have expressed concern about the incident, particularly because it involves a chief.
