The football star’s family, loved ones, football fraternity members, and the general public are expected to gather to celebrate his life.

Christian Atsu was discovered dead under the rubble of his home in southern Turkey on Saturday, January 18, 2023, following the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, 2023.
On Sunday, February 20, the famous player’s mortal remains arrived in Ghana.

Before joining Turkey’s Hatayspor, the 31-year-old played for Premier League clubs Everton FC, AFC Bournemouth, and Newcastle United.
On Friday, March 17, 2023, the ex-Ghanaian winger will be laid to rest on the forecourt of the state house.
