Three people are in critical condition after a KIA truck carrying frozen chicken collided with a long truck on the N1 highway near Ngleshie Amanfro.
The long truck was making a U-turn around the Ngleshie Amanfro section of the highway when the KIA truck crashed into the side of the trailer bucket, according to witnesses.
“Because he was speeding, the KIA truck driver was unable to apply the brakes.” He had no idea the truck was negotiating a turn. “Three people were seriously injured,” one of them said.

The impact of the crash caused significant damage to the KIA truck, as well as severe injuries to the driver and two other occupants.
The survivors were treated at the Ngleshie Amanfro polyclinic.
“We started with the driver and then moved on to the other two.” I attempted to contact the ambulance service, but it took some time to reach them. “However, they took them to the hospital after they arrived,” said another eyewitness.
