Patience Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, an alleged money doubler and spiritualist, has been granted bail.
Nana Agradaa, known for her money-making ritual, ‘sika gari,’ was apprehended on Tuesday night by a joint team of Police and National Security Intelligence Operatives working in collaboration with the National Communications Authority.
Her arrest followed the gruesome killing of an 11-year-old boy by two teenagers for money ritual purposes.
On the day of her arrest, two TV channels – Thunder TV and Ice1 TV – that allegedly broadcast money-doubling content in Kasoa, Central Region, were also shut down for operating without licenses.

The team seized two pieces of equipment from both locations that were allegedly used in the illegal transmission.
Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, announced this on her social media page on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
For years, the self-styled traditional priestess’ TV channels have been broadcasting without permission.
The state’s action follows recent concerns about people posing as spiritualists broadcasting inappropriate content in the media.
