Dr Michael Boadi Nyamekye, General Overseer of The Maker’s House Chapel International, has sadly recounted the death of his father, Charles Kofi Nyamekye.
After a brief illness, Senior Nyamekye died on Friday, July 22, 2014.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen about four months after his father’s death, the renowned pastor expressed hope that his father would not have died if Ghana’s healthcare system had been better.
Despite not disclosing the details of his death, Dr. Nyamekye expressed concerns about healthcare delivery and accessibility in the country.
In light of this, he has revealed plans and the commitment of his church to support healthcare in the country in their own small way.

In order to provide affordable and accessible healthcare, the pastor, who is also a lecturer at the University of Professional Studies, says plans to build a hospital at their Atomic-based church premises are well underway.
On September 24, 2022, Mr Charles Nyamekye was laid to rest.
