The Tesla CEO, Elon Musk said Western nations continue to prioritize the wrong things.
If there is one thing that both critics and supporters of Elon Musk agree on, it is that the billionaire is an environmentalist. Musk co-founded Tesla, a company whose mission is to contribute to the creation of a more sustainable world.
The serial entrepreneur described the goals of his two well-known businesses on July 15. “Tesla is to defend life on Earth, and SpaceX is to extend life beyond,” he added.
This is due to the fact that Tesla Motors’ main goal—and the reason I am funding the company—is to hasten the transition from a mine-and-burn hydrocarbon economy to a solar electric economy, which I believe to be the primary, but not sole, sustainable solution. Musk made this statement in August 2006, when he unveiled what he called “The Secret Tesla Motors Master Plan (just between you and me),” in a blog post. A sort of top-secret manual on improving transportation and preventing pollution from killing the globe.
Tesla has thus accelerated the automotive sector’s transition to electric vehicles, lowering CO2 emissions from the northern hemisphere’s most popular mode of transportation.
Since the merger of Tesla and SolarCity, another company Musk founded, the manufacturer of electric vehicles now also produces solar panels.

The software tycoon stopped using bitcoins to buy Tesla automobiles in 2021 when campaigners informed him that the cryptocurrency’s “Proof-of-Work” system uses a lot of electricity.
The billionaire, though, considers that there is currently a more pressing issue than global warming. The world population is declining, a fact that has an especially negative impact on China and the nations of the northern hemisphere.
The multinational CEO tweeted on August 26 that “population collapse due to low birth rates is a much bigger menace to civilisation than global warming.” “Mark these words,” he said, seemingly to demonstrate his seriousness.
(And I do think global warming is a major risk)

The zany boss wants to remind us that he still believes that global warming is a serious issue for the earth in order to underline the urgency of depopulating western nations, which today produce the majority of the world’s wealth. He seems to be saying that it is more of a priority issue. In essence, we need to reevaluate our priorities. The population issue should be at the top of the agenda.
(And I do believe that global warming is a significant risk),” Musk added.
Musk has previously discussed this subject. He has previously raised concerns about population loss in China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Italy. He also issued a birth rate warning for both the US and other countries.
All of this occurs after the US passed the most comprehensive bill to combat climate change, and at a time when the northern hemisphere is experiencing heat waves that are unprecedented.
