Lt. Col. Peter Amoah, the military officer reported missing on February 25th, 2023, has been found, according to the police.
The officer was discovered by police in the Central Region.
“He has since been handed over to the Military while the Police investigation continues to determine the circumstances surrounding his disappearance,” the Police said in a statement on Sunday, February 26.
The disappearance of Lt Col Peter Amoah of the Directorate of Army Peace Keeping Operations has alarmed the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The GAF’s earlier statement alarmed a search for the officer’s disappearance.
“Anyone with information on his whereabouts should kindly contact the nearest Police Station or Military Police Station, or call any of the following numbers: Commanding Officer of Ghana Military Police – 0244561521, Duty Officer of Ghana Military Police – 0593844420,” the statement said.
