Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s ex-girlfriend has responded to his request for a collaboration.
Diamond Michelle, also known as Michy, appears hesitant to accept the invitation to work with Shatta Wale again.
She stated on Snapchat that while Shatta Wale offered to pay her for the collaboration, he may later complain.
This follows Shatta Wale’s decision to put aside his differences and resume working with his ex-girlfriend and son’s mother.
Michy was captured demonstrating the Shatta Movement (SM) sign at the 2022 Ashaiman to the World concert on Sunday, which impressed the ‘My Level’ hitmaker.
Shatta Wale posted the photo to his Instagram page, saying he was glad to see Michy representing the Movement.
“This is the way it should be done…
We created this “Hope Symbol.” Thank you very much. “I can finally sleep.” Let’s do another song, in fact. This time, I’ll pay you in cash rather than in kind. Congratulations, BHIM nation.”
Michy, on the other hand, may not be ready to take that step just yet.
“You won’t pay me in kind, but in cash,” she wrote on Snapchat. “But if I collect you right now, you go come dey radio early morning dey cry (sic).”
