A fire gutted a fitting shop near the Ghana Revenue Authority office, destroying six shops and some vehicles in Asafo, within the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly of the Ashanti Region.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident began around 11: 30 a.m. on Tuesday.
It started when some petroleum products spilt and caught fire on some vehicles that were being worked on.

According to witnesses, the incident resulted in the burning of six shops, three Ford buses, and one Opel salon car, as well as other valuables.
