On Saturday, August 20, 2022, former president John Dramani Mahama paid a visit to the Kumasi Sofoline Mosque and gave the mosque project a monetary payment of GHC 110,000.00.
The contribution came in response to a request from the mosque’s leadership, who wanted the Ex-President to help them secure the property on which the mosque is located.
