Ex-President John Dramani Mahama, honoured Anne-Sophie Avé, the outgoing French ambassador to Ghana.
According to the former President, she strove to further improve ties between Ghana and France, and in particular, she promoted Ghana’s arts and culture in an “exemplary” manner.
In a tweet, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2020 presidential candidate said, “Outgoing French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Anne-Sophie Avé, paid a farewell call on me on Friday.”
“I admired her outstanding efforts to strengthen Ghana-France relations, particularly her outstanding promotion of Ghana’s arts and culture.”

“We also talked about issues of mutual interest to our two countries, like business and investment, tourism development and promotion, and her love for Ghana,” he added.
