I wasn’t paid $25 million to paint Accra- Gyankroma

One of President Akufo-Addo’s daughters claims she was not paid $25 million to paint portions of Accra.

According to Ms. Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, such charges are entirely baseless.

Contrary to popular belief, she claims that the initiatives were privately designed and funded.

She blamed some “shameless people” for being behind the speculation.

“For the avoidance of any doubt, it is important to state that these projects were solely conceived, managed, and financially undertaken by The Creative Arts Agency, through its own fundraising activities.”

“It is a complete fabrication being propagated by some despicable individuals, which has unfortunately been published by sections of the media.”

“This initiative was not undertaken to generate a profit, and no lucrative contracts have been given for it,” she stated in a news release published on Wednesday.

According to reports, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo was paid $25 million to paint areas of the capital city.

She has, however, categorically refuted the charges.

“I have directed my lawyer to pursue legal remedies against the individuals and media outlets who published these falsehoods with the sole goal of ruining my reputation,” she stated.
