KiDi, a musician, revealed that he felt embarrassed, sad, and defeated after people started bringing up his “inappropriate” old tweets.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz Fm, the ‘Touch It’ hitmaker admitted that he was not in a good mental state prior to the incident on Wednesday evening when he was bombarded with tweets and criticism.
“So I already had a lot on my plate…
I didn’t even have time to catch my breath and reset…
I remember it happened during my EP listening session. “I had to leave right in the middle of it,” he told Andy Dosty.
“I broke down in the middle of people, it was just too much for me,” KiDi explained, “so I had to leave and go home.”
“I was really embarrassed about everything,” he added.
The ‘Gyal Dem Sugar’ hitmaker went on to say that, while there is no excuse for his previous tweets, some of them caught him off guard because he couldn’t remember writing them.
This follows the resurfacing of old tweets in which he slammed former Presidents John Mahama, John Agyekum Kufour, and President Akufo-Addo.
KiDi also openly discussed his “relationship” with TV show host Anita Akuffo in primary school, among other things that people find offensive.
He also made remarks about TV host Delay, as well as actors John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, and Jackie Appiah.
KiDi apologized to the public, admitting that he was not only young at the time but also ignorant of the consequences of his words and actions.

“I tweeted inappropriate and unkind things.” “As I grew older, I came to regret these actions and how they affected the parties involved,” the ‘Gyal Dem Sugar’ hitmaker wrote.
He stated that “a lot of the things and values we hold now, we had to go through certain things in life to arrive at this place that we are, we had to unlearn a lot of things we grew up with and relearn certain things to also know that this is a good place to be.”
The singer went on to say that he hopes the celebrities he wrote about understand that his old tweets do not represent who he is today as a person.
“I’m assuming and hoping that they realize this was a young foolish boy.” “I wasn’t even KiDi; I was Nana Dwamena, who had a phone and was misbehaving, so I’m hoping they can see through all of that and realize I wasn’t the person I was at the time,” he explained.
“You live, we make mistakes, we learn from them, and through learning, we become better people,” KiDi added.
