Beirut — In a dramatic escalation of regional tensions, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed early Friday in a targeted Israeli airstrike on a fortified underground command center in southern Beirut, according to Israeli and Lebanese sources. The strike, confirmed by the Israeli government, marks a turning point in the Middle East’s shifting geopolitical landscape and raises urgent questions about the future of Hezbollah, Lebanon’s stability, and the broader regional order.
