On Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, 2022, at least five vehicles reportedly collided on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
According to a video shared by Kofi TV, the crashed vehicles, which included a long pickup truck, a commercial minibus, and at least three private vehicles, including a Toyota Vitz, were scattered across the road between Akyem Anyinasin and Linda Dor in the Eastern Region.
According to eyewitnesses, there was no death or injury among those involved.
One of the victims, whose car had crashed into a valley, the accident occurred when one of the drivers driving towards Accra lost control of his wheel and collided with other vehicles.
Four of the vehicles involved were said to be on their way to Kumasi, while the fifth was on its way to Accra, Ghana’s capital.
According to reports, the Ghana Police Service responded to the scene to assess the situation.
