Five people were reportedly killed in a suspected chieftaincy dispute at Enchi in the Western Region’s Aowin Municipality.
This occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 6.
It happened after an unidentified group of people believed to be residents of the community attempted to attack the Aowin Traditional Council’s paramount chief, Beyeeman Tano Kwao Benbuin II.
The bodies of the deceased had previously been seen lying on the street.

The bodies have since been transported to the morgue by police.
