Christian Atsu, a Ghanaian winger, has signed a one-year contract with Turkish club Hatayaspor.
With the agreement, he returned to Europe after leaving for the Saudi club Al-Raed last year.
Following his struggles in Saudi Arabia, Atsu decided to return to Europe and signed a contract with the Turkish top-tier club.
Hatayaspor has the option to extend the contract for another year.
“We signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Christian Atsu, an experienced right and left winger who has previously played for Everton, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Porto, and Malaga.”

Atsu has 254 club appearances under his belt, with 30 assists and 23 goals.
The Ghanaian winger has won 64 caps, with nine assists and ten goals.
