The two got into a heated argument. Without provocation, the accused emerged from his office brandishing a flip knife, which he then used to slash the complainant’s neck.
In an interview with Connect FM, Akpene Darko Cobbinah, counsel for the accused, said his client has so far shown great remorse because it was not his intention to harm his employee.
He stated that the company is already paying for all medical expenses through his client’s instrumentation.
Isaac Boateng, the complainant, stated that the experience terrified him.
“All I was asking for was my salary to be paid since he told me he had fired me.” My family members, particularly my wife and children, have been crying nonstop since the incident. But I have faith that justice will be served.”
