Bawumia tells Commonwealth Judges to embrace digitalization

On Monday, September 5, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia officially opened the 19th Triennial Conference of the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association (CMJA) in Accra.

The CMJA Conference, which brings together Chief Justices, Judges, Magistrates and judicial officers from Commonwealth Nations, has, in its five-decade history, helped to promote the independence of the judiciary and improvements to legal administration in member countries, the Vice President said.

He urged the CMJA to embrace the power of digital tools and innovations to improve access to justice and judicial systems in today’s world, where digital innovations are making things and life easier.
