The Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Ministry has advised citizens to exercise caution when visiting Abuja, Nigeria.
In a travel advisory note dated November 16, 2022, the Ministry advised that non-essential travel to Nigeria’s capital be avoided.
This is due to “the city’s unpredictable security situation and the high danger of terrorism, criminality, inter-communal conflict, armed attacks, and kidnappings,” according to the Ministry.
