A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to death by hanging for murder in Assin Fosu, Ghana’s Central Region.
According to the central region’s Kessben FM reporter, the convict, Kofi Adjei, had an altercation with the deceased.
During the altercation, Kofi Adjei, also known as Chilling, is said to have stabbed the deceased with a pair of scissors.
During the proceedings, Kofi pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him.
As a result, Adjei was sentenced to death by hanging by the Cape Coast High Court.

Many members of the community were overjoyed at the news of his sentence, noting that it was not the first time he had committed such a crime.
