A Tamale circuit court has remanded Favour Blessing, a 41-year-old Nigerian national, for human trafficking and forced prostitution.
On Monday, December 12, the defendant who pled guilty to the allegations will be sentenced.
According to a police source in Tamale, the suspect was apprehended on Sunday, December 4th, when she chased one of her victims who disobeyed her commands onto the street in Tamale.
During the chase, the victim, who is also a Nigerian national, took sanctuary with a good Samaritan who happened to be a police officer.
Further investigation found that the suspect was trafficking naïve victims from Nigeria to Ghana under the guise of providing them with jobs.

His lordship presided over the court. On her own plea, Alexander Oware remanded the subject into detention.
